NuDay's commitment to privacy

NuDay prioritizes dignity, and that goes hand in hand with being completely transparent in all things supporter related. Any information provided by visitors and donors is provided voluntarily, and NuDay will never sell or otherwise externally distribute personal information. 

We know that you care how your information is used and shared, and we appreciate you trusting that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we store and use your information. The practices laid out apply to donor information we collect both online and offline.

What information does NuDay collect?

NuDay collects personal information that is voluntarily submitted. This information is not obligatory and is sent by the viewer at their own discretion.

 

Say, for example, that a donor provides us with personal information such as their name, email address, and/or credit/debit card information while making a donation. A supporter might email NuDay, which would result in providing their name and email address. The data in these instances is required for us to process your donation, requests, or respond to inquiries.

Along with the personal information that is submitted through these venues, NuDay may automatically collect information about you from  the following technologies:

Web Server Logs. NuDay may collect information such as IP addresses, pages visited. time of visits, and referring website.

Cookies. Cookies are simple text files stored by your web browser that provide a method of distinguishing between visitors to websites. Cookies make websites work more efficiently for visitors by providing information to the website, which can then cater to the viewer. NuDay uses cookies to identify your browser when you visit pages on the NuDay website or other media related to NuDay. Cookies also allow NuDay to provide visitors with targetted content and adjust web pages according to interest.

How does NuDay use information?

NuDay collects information to accept donations and share information on the projects supported by visitors. NuDay also uses information for internal purposes, such as better understanding NuDay's supporters, and for analytical purposes, such as site and outreach improvement. In the extraneous circumstance that NuDay necessitates your information for other purposes, NuDay will gain consent from visitors prior to doing so.

Who does NuDay share information with?

NuDay prioritizes visitors and values upholding the right to privacy in every situation possible. Under no circumstance does NuDay trade, share, or sell information that visitors provide to other organizations or third party entities for their marketing purposes. 

NuDay only shares information in the following situations: 

  • Sharing information is necessary for a transaction or communication - for example, to process a credit card transaction;

  • The person submitting the information authorizes NuDay to share it; 

  • NuDay is required to disclose information by law.

If you would like to access the data that NuDay has received from you or make alterations to it, you may contact NuDay via the email listed at the end of this policy.

 

If you are registered for our mailing list and change your mind, you may ask to remove yourself from the list. You can do so by contacting the email at the end of this policy, or by unregistering through the newsletter itself.

Additional information

NuDay may occasionally modify this privacy policy. Any changes will be reflected within this policy. Should a change apply directly to you, NuDay will attempt to contact you and obtain your consent.
